One of the better options that you will find on the market today, in terms of a meal replacement shake is the Garden of Life RAW product. This brand delivers 26 super foods of all organic RAW seeds. Their premier shake delivers 17 grams of protein per serving, with a blend of quinoa sprout, buckwheat sprout, garbanzo bean sprout, sunflower sprout, pumpkin seed sprout, and many more.
Not only does this option deliver a good source of ingredients, it also delivers 20 vitamins and minerals with at least 100% the daily recommended value of 16 nutrients, making this one powerful entry into the shake world.
Vegan friendly, no soy, and Raw Meal organic ingredients makes this one of the best options available, with no red flags that grabbed our editor’s attention.
The only thing that we can say that may detract from Garden of Life RAW is that the taste is going to be less than pleasant for some. Due in large part to the fact that this option is garden based, and ultimately, “green” in nature, there can be harsh taste. However, if taste isn’t paramount, this is a good option to consider.

I’ve been using this for years. I enjoy the taste. I make it with vanilla rice milk. I have many allergies and this gives me, so they say, 100% of my daily nutrition. The calories are a it high so I use 1/2 a serving in the morning and 1/2 in the afternoon. This is a Meal Replacement not just a protein powder. You get your green red and yellow veggies + shrooms and all kinds of other stuff. I highly recommend it, uh the vanilla. The chocolate not so much. Oh the chai flavor, no, no. All being said. A great product for life. Not weight loss
I have been using a somewhat different version from Garden of Life, called RAW FIT, that is Vegan, gluten free, soy free, dairy free and has a low glycemic index. This product is made with green coffee extract, so it gives a caffeine kick. The taste is not good, but I mix it in with my regular shake mix (Metabolic Reset) and the combination is very palatable. This means that I am making 16 ounces, half and half. This for me is two meals, used early in the day so it does not keep me awake at night. The calories in each 8 ounce serving are slightly higher than Metabolic Reset alone: 130 + 180 = 310 divided by two = 155 calories per serving if made with water. However, the result tastes a lot better, provides extra energy in the morning, keeps blood sugar stable and is a satisfying replacement meal. I like this combination a lot and would recommend to others.
